Our Philosophy
At Zestimer, we believe your fitness data belongs to you. We've built the app with a "Privacy by Default" architecture, meaning we do not collect, store, or have any access to your personal information or workout data.
No Data Collection
Zestimer does not require an account to use. We do not use any third-party analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising SDKs. No data is ever sent to our servers because we don't have any servers dedicated to storing user data.
Data Storage and Syncing
Workout Data: Your workout routines, history, and settings are stored locally on your device. If you use iCloud, your data is synced across your devices using your private iCloud account. This data is encrypted by Apple and remains inaccessible to us.
Health Data: If you grant permission, Zestimer reads and writes data to the Apple Health app (HealthKit). This integration happens entirely on-device. Your health metrics stay within the Apple Health ecosystem and are never transmitted to Zestimer.
Data Security
Since your data is stored on your device and synced via iCloud, it benefits from the world-class security and encryption provided by Apple. We recommend keeping your iOS and watchOS devices updated to the latest versions to ensure the best security for your data.
Changes to This Policy
Should we ever change our approach to data (though we intend to keep it this way), we will update this policy immediately.
