Turn a saved TikTok into your own workout

That short clip can be a starting point. Share its link with Zestimer and let Pro draft a routine from the moves it finds. Check the suggested timing, swap anything that does not suit you, and follow along at home.

TikTok

A forty-second clip

tiktok.com/@…/video/…

A workout you want to try.

Six moves, timed and ordered

Example · change any move or interval

  • Squats0:30
  • Reverse lunges0:30
  • Push-ups0:30

Review the AI draft, adjust it to your pace, then follow along with Zestbot.

How it works

From the saved folder to the mat

  1. Share the video to Zestimer

Copy the link from TikTok (Share, then Copy link) and paste it into Zestimer. That is the whole handoff.

  2. Zestimer gives it structure

It reads the moves out of the clip and gives each one a working interval and a rest, in the order it saw them. A forty-second list becomes a twelve-minute circuit.

  3. Set the level, then go

Nudge the intervals to what you can hold, drop anything you would rather skip, and press start. The dial counts, the voice calls the switch.

What you get

Why a clip needs this more than a video does

A long-form video at least paces itself. A short one is a highlight reel of a workout, which is exactly the thing you cannot follow in real time.
It supplies the timings the clip never had
Most short-form workouts show a move for two seconds and expect you to know it means "45 seconds, three rounds". Zestimer writes that down so you are not deciding mid-burpee.
It fixes the order
Six moves in a caption is not a session. Circuits, rounds and rests turn a list into something with a beginning and an end.
It survives the algorithm
The workout lands in your library with the clip credited on it. You can run it next month without hoping the video is still in your saves.
It works with the phone face down
You cannot watch a vertical video while doing a side plank. Voice cues and haptics mean you do not have to, and the Apple Watch will take the whole session on its own.

Workout imports and AI fine-tuning are Pro features. Start with selected free presets in the app, or read exercise instructions and use the web timer for free — see what each plan includes.

Frequently asked questions

How do I turn a TikTok into a workout?
In TikTok, tap Share and then Copy link. Open Zestimer, paste the link into the import field, and it rebuilds the clip as a timed workout with an interval and a rest for every move.
Do I need to download the TikTok first?
No. The link is enough, and the original video stays credited on the workout so you can go back to the creator.
What if the video never says how long to do each move?
Most short-form workouts do not, which is the point. Zestimer proposes a working interval and a rest for each move based on what it is, and every one of them is editable before you start.
Which TikTok workouts convert best?
Clips that name their moves: an ab finisher, a mobility flow, a "do this every morning" list. A clip that is one continuous dance or a single held pose gives the timer less to work with.
Does it work with Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts too?
Yes. Zestimer supports YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok, Threads, and X. Publicly accessible workout content works best; a private or unavailable post may not import.
Is it free?
The web timer and exercise instructions are free. The app includes selected free presets; all presets and video imports are part of Pro. See the current plans and trial in the App Store.
